Last week I visited Venice beach, and while I’m not much of a beach girl, I enjoyed the sea breeze. It was a nice break from my landlocked day-to-day, and I got to really wander around and explore the city. It’s such a unique spot, where even the alleyways are beautiful. Plus it gave me a chance to sport my new Madewell pieces I received last week, so how could I go wrong?
If you’ve been reading my blog even for a short amount of time, you know I’m denim-obsessed. And I do mean obsessed. I love a good canadian tuxedo, and the right denim jacket can bring me to my knees. This one from Madewell is no exception. It’s soft, perfectly broken in, and has a bit of a longer cut which makes for a nice change.
I paired it with some simple basics, these rad sunglasses, and my new Koolaburra boots. I’m fairly positive I’m going to wear all of these pieces a ton this Spring – especially the boots! They’re such a unique nude shade, and the quality of the leather is exactly what I wanted in my life right now.
