Our trip both started and ended in Rome, so it felt a bit nice to return back and visit a few places we missed when we landed. These photos were shot in the morning at Piazza Novana, close to where we were staying in Campo di Fiore. Because we arrived to shoot around 8am, we had the place to ourselves and got to really wander around and take our time. I somehow have missed this beautiful Piazza on every visit despite staying close by so it was really special to see it nearly empty, with three large fountains and countless cafe chairs waiting for morning patrons.
I wore a secondhand trench from one of my favorite brands (Totême) to fight the chill, a flowy dress from Rebecca Taylor, fisherman sandals, and of course – these sunglasses that have become my entire personality. For bags, I brought along the Sézane woven bag that we use to carry the camera and larger things, as well as my APC crossbody that I have a whole blog post coming on because it’s just that good.
