This weekend was probably one of the best I’ve had in as long as I can remember. I celebrated my 25th Birthday with my boyfriend and my close friends, and couldn’t have asked for a better day. I had a massage, a picnic, went bowling, and sang karaoke. Pretty much the best day ever. And on top of that, I got to do it all wearing this incredible dress from my favorite bohemian label, Rae Francis.
They’re a newer label, carried at Free People, ShopBop, and Bona Drag, and they are poised to become the next big label. Flowy silks, leather details, all with a desert-y, Americana vibe. I was crushing hard on this dress when I saw it in their lookbook earlier this year, so when it arrived the day before my Birthday, I was over the moon. It’s got the fullest skirt, and is made from the smoothest silk, so it’s pretty much a dream to wear. I paired it with this vintage concho belt I found on eBay, and some cowboy booties I’ve had for ages. I felt like a cowgirl, and I loved it.
