I’m slowly getting the hang of “popping into the city” rather than staying the night, which means wearing an outfit I can comfortably spend around 4 hours on the train in (2 hours in, 2 hours out), and still feel polished for whatever meeting or event I’m in town for. Today it was a beautiful lunch for one of my favorite beauty brands, Susanne Kaufmann. If you’re not familiar with them, they make the mostttt luxurious bath and skincare products, all packaged in impossibly chic glass and recyclable containers. I’m particularly smitten with their Bath Oil, but really the whole line is incredible.
I wore these trousers (which I cannot shut up about, as evidenced here and here) paired with a secondhand Dion Lee sweater, some comfortable mary-janes, and a beautiful trench that just arrived a few weeks ago and has already been worn as many times as I’ve left the house since. For a purse, I wanted something small and cute so I chose this really minimal (and sturdy) APC purse as well as a more practical option (esp for carrying my book and headphones for the train) from Strathberry.
